Agape Behavioral Center, A top workplace three years running, is currently seeking a Full-Time Vice President of Clinical Services for our Behavioral Healthcare facilities in South Florida!

Schedule: Full-Time - Located at oakland park office 4X/week & at Port St. Lucie location 1X/week

The VP of Clinical Services is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, ethical, evidence-based, and patient-centered clinical care while developing strong clinical leaders and promoting consistency across programs and facilities

Specific Areas of Responsibility:

  • Provide executive leadership and oversight of clinical services across Agape programs and facilities.

  • Lead, mentor, and support Clinical Directors, clinical supervisors, therapists, and other clinical leadership.

  • Establish and maintain consistent clinical standards, expectations, workflows, and best practices across programs.

  • Ensure clinical programming meets organizational standards and applicable regulatory, licensing, accreditation, and payer requirements.

  • Evaluate clinical program effectiveness, patient outcomes, quality indicators, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Partner with Compliance and Quality Assurance to identify clinical risks, implement corrective action, and maintain survey readiness.

  • Collaborate with Medical, Nursing, Operations, and Admissions leadership to ensure continuity of care and appropriate coordination throughout the patient experience.

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of evidence-based clinical programming.

  • Support appropriate documentation standards, treatment planning, utilization management, and clinical record quality.

  • Develop and monitor clinical performance expectations and key performance indicators.

  • Identify opportunities to improve patient engagement, retention, successful transitions through levels of care, and discharge planning.

  • Provide leadership and guidance regarding complex clinical situations, patient concerns, and clinical risk management.

  • Recruit, develop, and retain strong clinical leadership while fostering accountability, collaboration, professional development, and employee engagement.

  • Promote effective interdisciplinary communication and help remove barriers between departments that impact patient care.

  • Support the development and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.

  • Participate in strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives, including the development or expansion of clinical programs and services.

  • Maintain awareness of evolving behavioral healthcare standards, evidence-based practices, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.

  • Foster a clinical culture that reflects Agape's commitment to compassion, accountability, collaboration, and Bringing Hospitality to Healthcare.


Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field required.

  • Active Florida clinical license required; LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive clinical leadership experience within behavioral healthcare, mental health, or substance use disorder treatment.

  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health and substance use treatment, including residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care.

  • Demonstrated experience developing clinical leaders and building accountable, high-performing teams.

  • Strong understanding of clinical documentation, treatment planning, quality improvement, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience working collaboratively with medical, nursing, operations, compliance, admissions, and executive leadership.

  • Strong communication, conflict-resolution, organizational, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to balance clinical excellence with operational effectiveness and organizational objectives.
