The Treatment Director provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of all treatment-related services for children
and youth receiving foster care services through Houston Strong Children Services.

CLINICAL & TREATMENT OVERSIGHT

• Develop, monitor, and review individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate services with therapists, psychiatrists, schools, and providers.
• Monitor treatment progress and recommend modifications.
• Participate in staffing meetings and treatment reviews.

PROGRAM LEADERSHIP

• Provide leadership to case managers, interns, and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with DFPS, T3C, and agency requirements.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and program development.

FOSTER PARENT SUPPORT

• Provide consultation and support to foster parents.
• Assist with crisis intervention and stabilization efforts.
• Coordinate trauma-informed care training opportunities.

• Oversee social work, counseling, psychology, and human services interns.
• Coordinate with universities and field instructors.
• Facilitate training, case consultations, and professional development.
• Participate in intern recruitment, onboarding, and evaluations.

COMPLIANCE & DOCUMENTATION

• Maintain accurate treatment records.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews.
• Prepare reports for audits and licensing reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or related field.
• Three years of experience in child welfare, foster care, or behavioral health.
• Strong understanding of Texas foster care regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
• LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Supervisory experience.
• TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) training.

PERFORMANCE INCENTIVE BONUS

The Treatment Director is eligible for an annual performance bonus of up to 5% of base salary based on the following
criteria:
• Placement stability
• Permanency outcomes
• Compliance performance
• Foster parent retention
• Successful intern oversight
