Position Overview
We are seeking an organized, responsible, and student-centered Student Life Coordinator with hands-on experience in student dormitory management.
This role is responsible for supporting daily dormitory operations, establishing and implementing dormitory policies and procedures, managing student safety and conduct, and coordinating extracurricular activities for high school students.
The ideal candidate has direct experience managing a student dormitory and is comfortable developing clear policies, SOPs, and operational procedures to maintain a safe, structured, and supportive residential environment.
Key Responsibilities
Dormitory Operations & Management
- Oversee daily dormitory operations and maintain a safe, organized, and respectful living environment.
- Manage dormitory procedures including attendance and room checks, curfews, student check-in/check-out, visitor management, and prohibited items.
- Monitor student conduct and address dormitory rule violations and behavioral concerns.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, disciplinary matters, and other dormitory-related issues.
- Identify operational issues and continuously improve dormitory processes.
Policies & SOP Development

Develop, update, and implement dormitory policies, SOPs, rules, and operational procedures.
- Establish clear procedures for room checks, curfews, student outings, safety protocols, prohibited items, and disciplinary matters.
- Develop procedures for documenting, reporting, escalating, and following up on student incidents.
- Ensure dormitory staff consistently understand and follow established policies and procedures.
Student Safety & Support
- Monitor student well-being and promptly respond to health, safety, behavioral, or emergency concerns.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for students who need assistance with dormitory or student-life matters.
- Coordinate with school administrators, teachers, dormitory staff, and parents when necessary.
- Handle sensitive student matters with discretion, sound judgment, and appropriate professional boundaries.
Student Activities
- Plan and coordinate after-school activities, student clubs, weekend activities, social events, and community-building programs.
- Supervise activities and ensure appropriate student participation and safety.
- Support student clubs and other non-academic student-life initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Student Affairs, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred.

Hands-on student dormitory management experience is required.

Experience developing or implementing dormitory policies, SOPs, rules, or student handbooks is required.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in dormitory management, student life, or student services preferred.
- Experience working with high school students is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and student management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends; CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
