Position Summary

The QIDP is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and compliance of Individual Program Plans (IPPs) while ensuring high-quality, person-centered care for residents. This role partners closely with Residential Managers, DSPs, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident goals, regulatory compliance, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Support & Training

  • Provide guidance and training to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on IPP implementation and documentation
  • Support assigned staff with program-related coaching and compliance expectations
  • Ensure staff understand and follow behavior plans, care plans, and regulatory standards
  • Support and lead a collaborative, respectful, and mission-driven work environment.

Resident Care & Advocacy

  • Advocate for residents' rights, preferences, and person-centered outcomes
  • Monitor progress toward goals and adjust programming as needed
  • Collaborate with families, conservators, and care teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Identify changes in resident needs and coordinate appropriate interventions

Program Oversight & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Program Plans (IPPs) in accordance with Title 17 and Title 22 regulations
  • Ensure all documentation, assessments, and reports are accurate, current, and audit-ready
  • Participate in and lead IPP meetings, annual reviews, and interdisciplinary team meeting
  • Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with DDS and regional center requirements

Collaboration & Communication

  • Serve as liaison with Regional Center (SDRC), healthcare providers, and external partners
  • Maintain consistent communication with internal teams regarding resident progress and needs
  • Support audits, licensing visits, and regulatory reviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • ARF Certification (or eligibility) required per California Title 17 regulations
  • Strong knowledge of IPPs, DDS regulations, and person-centered planning
  • Excellent documentation, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid California driver's license for a minimum of 3 years with clean driving record
  • Must pass Live Scan background check

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Regional Center (SDRC) Experience in residential or group home settings
