Position Details:

  • Full-Time
  • Locations: Culver City and Van Nuys 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in social services, psychology, or a related field - LMFT or LCSW preferred   
  • Minimum 3 years of direct social services experience; supervisory experience preferred. 
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children or transition-age youth with significant mental health needs in a community-based setting. 
  • Experience with field-based services, crisis stabilization, case management, and LACDMH FSP requirements. 
  • Knowledge of Medi-Cal documentation and billing requirements. 
  • Experience with High Fidelity Wraparound, IP-CANS, co-occurring SUD services, and LPS designation preferred. 
  • Must complete State-approved HFW Foundations training within 90 days of hire if not already completed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

  • Position requires significant field-based work in client homes, schools, community settings, shelters, and other locations throughout Los Angeles County. 

 

JOB SUMMARY

The FSP Program Paraprofessional Supervisor oversees the day-to-day activities and performances of paraprofessionals staff within the Full Service Partnership (FSP) program. This position directly supervises BA- level Case Mangers/Child Specialists and Parent Advocates, ensuring high-quality, field-based services consistent with LACDMH FSP requirements. Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) standards, and High Fideltiy Wraparound (HFW) principles. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, mentoring, and performance oversight to Case Manager/Clinic Specialists and Parent Advocates. 
  • Ensure services are family-driven, youth-guided, culturally responsive, team-based, and consistent with FSP and High Fidelity Wraparound principles. 
  • Monitor staff caseloads, productivity, service intensity, and timely delivery of field-based services. 
  • Train and support staff in LACDMH documentation and billing requirements and ensure timely completion of progress notes, IP-CANS assessments, care plans, and other required documentation. 
  • Coordinate referrals, case management, client resources, and care with DMH, DCFS, Probation, schools, housing resources, and other community partners. 
  • Coordinate and oversee service delivery by all staff assign to each client including Case Management, Psychiatric and Psychotherapeutic therapy, Vocational/Educational, Peer and Community supports
  • Support crisis intervention and stabilization and participates in the programs 24/7 on-call rotation.  
  • Support the integration of Parent Advocates and lived-experience perspectives into services and treatment planning. 
  • Attend required agency, community, and LACDMH meetings and comply with all agency HIPAA, ethical, and regulatory requirements 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs.
