About the Role:
Supportive Connections LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant Direct Support Staff member to join our team in Colusa, CA. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and personal assistance to individuals with disabilities or special needs in daily living activities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including grooming, hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility
- Support clients in community integration, social activities, and skill-building opportunities
- Implement individualized support plans and document progress accurately
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and care team members
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of clients at all times
- Transport and accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community outings as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or a related human services field preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and commitment to person-centered care
- Ability to pass a background check and meet state compliance requirements
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
