Position Overview

As a Mental Health Clinician with Interdynamics, you will provide behavioral health services in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. Depending on your assignment, you may work directly with students, families, teachers, school staff, and community partners.

Our clinical team includes licensed professionals such as:

  • Licensed Graduate Professional Counselors (LGPC)

  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC)

  • Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW)

  • Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW/LCSW-C)

  • Psychology Associates

Positions are available in Charles County and other locations throughout Maryland.

What You’ll Do

School-based clinicians have the opportunity to:

  • Provide individual and family counseling to students, as well as support to teachers and parents.

  • Consult with teachers and develop classroom-based interventions.

  • Conduct classroom observations and functional behavioral assessments.

  • Provide crisis intervention and support to students, staff, and families.

  • Conduct educational trainings and workshops for staff, students, and parents.

  • Collaborate with school psychologists, counselors, social workers, administrators, teachers, and other support professionals.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

  • Provide family support and connect families with appropriate community resources and agencies.

  • Conduct community outreach and strengthen connections between families and available services.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation.

  • Meet regularly with an Interdynamics Clinical Supervisor for guidance and clinical support.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

We are looking for clinicians who are compassionate, dependable, collaborative, and committed to providing high-quality behavioral health services.

Required qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, psychology, or a related field.

  • Current Maryland licensure in good standing as an LMSW, LCSW/LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, or Psychology Associate, as applicable to the position.

  • Ability to meet required screening and employment requirements.

  • Professional liability insurance.

  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

  • Commitment to ethical and professional standards of practice.

School-Based Position Requirements

  • School-based clinicians must satisfactorily complete the first 90 days of service to continue employment.

  • Clinicians must follow the Interdynamics and school schedules, including Monday–Friday reporting and workday requirements.

  • Follow Interdynamics policies, procedures, and protocols.

  • Maintain compliance with all applicable Maryland licensing regulations, ethical principles, and professional standards.

  • Attend required orientations, meetings, and training activities.

  • School-based clinicians must commit to a minimum one-year contract.

  • Communicate absences and interruptions in services to the Clinical Supervisor in accordance with contract requirements.
