EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 79,000 people through 120 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated full time Program Director to join the MDFT AFY Expansion Program.

 


Salary: $75,000/annually 
Schedule: 9AM-5PM, Monday- Friday with flexibility to work early evenings
Location: 320 Carleton Ave. in Central Islip NY


 

What drives the core purpose of this job:
The MDFT Director oversees the delivery and integration of Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy (MDFT) within the Alternatives for Youth (AFY) program. This full-time position includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities, including the provision of direct services, supervision of MDFT Therapists, quality assurance oversight, and coordination with internal leadership and external stakeholders to ensure model fidelity and performance outcomes.

 

What are the key Responsibilities:


Collaborate with the Senior Director to support the recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and retention of MDFT Therapists
Provide clinical supervision and support to MDFT Therapists
Deliver MDFT treatment services to youth and families using a culturally competent and trauma-informed approach in the office, clients home or other community spaces as necessary. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain clinical documentation
Ensure program compliance with MDFT protocols, internal policies, and funder requirements
Collaborate with the Senior Director and AFY leadership on performance metrics, reporting, and program improvement initiatives
Participate in all MDFT training and quality assurance activities
Serve as liaison to MDFT training consultants and model developers
Support the development of policies, procedures, and workflows for effective program implementation
Assist in the collection of data as required by the funder


 

What key knowledge, skills, and abilities are required to excel in this role:


Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT)
Supervisory experience in a behavioral health or youth services setting
Demonstrated experience delivering or overseeing evidence-based family interventions
 Flexible work schedule to accommodate program needs  (work evenings, possible weekends if necessary).
Strong interpersonal, documentation, and time management skills
Valid NYS Driver’s License and ability to conduct field-based services in Suffolk County.
