Community Empowerment Services (CES) is seeking an experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our North Andover outpatient behavioral health practice. 

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. 

This position offers an opportunity for an experienced LICSW to combine direct psychotherapy with clinical supervision, consultation, and mentorship within our interdisciplinary practice. The primary focus of the role is direct patient care, while also providing adjunct clinical supervision and consultation in support of the Clinical Director.

Position Overview 
The LICSW Psychotherapist – Clinical Supervision provides high-quality outpatient psychotherapy to a diverse client population while contributing to the clinical development and support of the CES team. 

The position combines a strong clinical caseload with opportunities to provide clinical supervision, consultation, mentorship, and clinical leadership in support of the Clinical Director. 

This role is a strong fit for an experienced LICSW who enjoys direct patient care and is interested in contributing to the growth of other clinicians and the continued development of clinical excellence at CES. 


Clinical Responsibilities
 
  • Provide individual, family, or group psychotherapy based on clinical expertise and patient needs 
  • Maintain an assigned outpatient clinical caseload 
  • Complete comprehensive intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans 
  • Provide diagnostic assessment within the scope of licensure and training 
  • Utilize evidence-based and clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions 
  • Monitor patient progress and utilize outcome measures when appropriate 
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including SOAP notes, assessments, and treatment plans 
  • Utilize CES'sAI-assisted documentation tools to support efficient, timely, and accurate clinical documentation 
  • Coordinate care with other providers and community resources as clinically appropriate 
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case consultation and clinical collaboration 
  • Maintain appropriate professional and ethical standards 
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education 
  • Contribute to CES clinical initiatives and the continued development of best practices 

Clinical Supervision, Consultation & Leadership
 
In collaboration with and in support of the Clinical Director, the LICSW will have opportunities to provide clinical supervision, consultation, mentorship, and leadership within the North Andover practice. 

Responsibilities may include: 
  • Provide adjunct clinical supervision to clinicians as assigned by the Clinical Director 
  • Support the Clinical Director with clinical consultation and case review 
  • Mentor clinicians in clinical practice, treatment planning, documentation, and ethical decision-making 
  • Support the professional development and growth of clinicians 
  • Promote evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive clinical practice 
  • Serve as a clinical resource and positive professional role model within the North Andover office 
  • Participate in discussions regarding clinical practice, quality improvement, and best practices 
  • Communicate relevant clinical concerns and supervisory needs to the Clinical Director 
  • Contribute to a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, and clinical excellence 
The role provides an opportunity for an LICSW to develop and utilize clinical leadership skills while remaining actively engaged in psychotherapy. 

 
Qualifications 
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) 
  • Active Massachusetts LICSW required 
  • Strong psychotherapy and clinical assessment skills 
  • Interest in clinical supervision, mentorship, and/or leadership 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills 
  • Trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach to clinical care 
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary behavioral health team 
  • Strong professional boundaries and commitment to sustainable clinical practice 
  • Weekday and evening availability 

Compensation & Schedule
 
  • Estimated full-time annual compensation: $88,000–$95,000 
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available 
  • Full-time positions are 30+ hours per week and eligible for CES benefits 
  • Schedule can be designed collaboratively based on clinical needs, provider availability, and mutually agreed-upon expectations 
  • Weekday and evening availability 
  • Paid time for clinical supervision, team meetings, consultation, and other required clinical responsibilities 
  • Paid no-show appointments 
  • Additional clinical hours may be available by mutual agreement
