Position Summary

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Therapist - Clinical Program Coordinator to join our team in Cherry Hill, NJ. This is a full-time, onsite position that combines direct clinical therapy responsibilities with clinical program coordination, case review, service coordination, and program development.

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and organized behavioral health professional who is comfortable balancing direct client care with clinical program operations. This individual will provide therapeutic services while supporting the coordination, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Neuropath's clinical programs.

The Licensed Therapist - Clinical Program Coordinator will work closely with clinicians, Care Managers, administrative staff, interns, clients and families, and other internal and external stakeholders to support quality services, effective care coordination, timely documentation, and compliance with applicable clinical program requirements.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a professional who can successfully operate in both clinical and program coordination capacities. The ideal candidate is comfortable providing direct therapy while also reviewing cases, coordinating services, supporting clinicians and interns, addressing service barriers, and helping leadership improve clinical programs.

This role is particularly well suited for a behavioral health professional who enjoys both direct client care and clinical operations/program development and wants to contribute to the growth and quality of behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapeutic services to youth based on clinical needs and treatment plans.

  • Conduct clinical assessments and assist with treatment planning, goals, and appropriate interventions.

  • Complete timely assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation after each session

  • Apply evidence-based clinical approaches and appropriate assessment tools to support client outcomes.

  • Collaborate with clients, families, Care Managers, clinicians, and multidisciplinary team members to support continuity of care.

  • Coordinate day-to-day clinical and operational activities supporting clinical programs.

  • Review cases, referrals, treatment plans, and clinical documentation for quality, completeness, and compliance.

  • Coordinate case assignments, intake requests, and follow-up activities.

  • Consult on referrals requiring additional clinical review and escalate concerns appropriately.

  • Coordinate with Care Managers and internal teams to address service needs, referrals, authorizations, and operational barriers.

  • Advocate for clients and families by identifying service barriers, coordinating appropriate resources, and supporting timely resolution of concerns.
  • Assist families with available services, clinical recommendations, and care pathways.
  • Communicate client needs and concerns effectively with Care Managers, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
  • De-escalate challenging situations with empathy, professionalism, and sound clinical judgment.
  • Identify barriers that may affect access to or continuity of care and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of clinical program policies, procedures, workflows, and training materials.

  • Monitor program activities and outcomes and assist with reporting, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

  • Provide clinical subject-matter support related to behavioral health platforms, processes, and documentation standards.

  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate records while protecting confidentiality and adhering to applicable laws, regulations, ethical standards, and agency policies.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support program goals, quality care, and positive client outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Active New Jersey clinical license or credential appropriate to provide the services required for the position, such as LSW, LAC, LFT, or another applicable professional credential.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in behavioral health, clinical services, program coordination, or a related field.
  • Clinical experience providing services to children and youth with mental health needs.
  • Experience with treatment planning, clinical documentation, progress notes, treatment goals, and assessments.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health services, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices.
  • Experience working with youth with mental health disorders; experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn CSOC, DCF, PerformCare, Cyber, IIC, and IIH processes.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an onsite, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable professional and agency standards.
  • Valid New Jersey Driver's License.
  • Must successfully complete all required state and federal background checks and other pre-employment requirements.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating behavioral health programs or clinical operations.
  • Experience working with CSOC, DCF, PerformCare, IIC, or IIH services.
  • Experience providing services to individuals with I/DD.
  • Experience with clinical quality assurance, chart review, or documentation review.
  • Experience developing clinical/program procedures, training materials, or workflows.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, training, or supporting interns or behavioral health staff.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and behavioral health technology platforms.

Work Schedule & Location

  • Full-time position
  • Onsite in Cherry Hill, New Jersey
  • Must be available to work a full-time schedule (40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday) and participate in required meetings, clinical coordination activities, and program operations.
  • Schedule may include flexibility based on client, program, and operational needs.

Compensation will be based on qualifications, clinical credentials, experience, and the responsibilities of the position.
