Enterstomal Nurse

Full-Time, Days

Job Description:

  • Responsible for promoting high quality patient care through clinical care, consultation, and patient education, integrating clinical research findings in daily practice.
  • Role includes working with clinical staff to assure high quality, individualized care for patients with wound, skin, and continence needs.
  • Coordinates plan of care with healthcare team for each patient. Supports and maintains the concept of teamwork to deliver care.
  • Performs and documents a complete and comprehensive ET (WOC) care and education plan in accordance with scope of practice, policies and procedures, national standards of care, as well as consideration of the needs, barriers, and skills/abilities/resources/support system of each patient served. Coordinates the ET (WOC) plan of care for in-patients and out-patient.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Ky RN License
  • Two Years related experience
  • Certified Wound Ostomy & Continence Nurse; must be willing to achieve as soon as possible if not met.
