Job Description:

To participate in an Internship under the guidance of a Clinical Coordinator or Vice President of Clinical Services to meet the criteria for fulfilling degree requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited College or University
  • Computer proficiency and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Essential Responsibilities:

Attend Easterseals Residential & Educational Services Training. Attend clinical group supervision meetings on a regular basis to engage in clinical/program development discussions and learn about programmatic functioning as it relates to clinical services. Collaborate with Easterseals Clinical Staff to observe/engage in direct clinical work. Promote and maintain satisfactory public relations between residences, other programs, funding agencies and the community. Communicate and interact with patients, peers and members of the interdisciplinary team in a professional manner.
