Our Drug and Alcohol Program is committed to person-centered care and utilizes a harm reduction approach to support individuals in creating meaningful change. We provide comprehensive treatment services, including Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) and Alcohol Use Disorder (MAUD). Our team fosters a collaborative and supportive culture through strong teamwork, weekly individual supervision, and weekly group supervision to promote both staff development and quality patient care.

Sign-on bonus of up to $7,000 for a 2-year work commitment!



Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment & Treatment

  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and intake activities under supervision to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Provide individual and group therapy, recovery education, and family engagement as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop, implement, and update treatment plans based on patient needs.

Care Coordination

  • Engage clients, address participation barriers, and promote recovery-focused self-management.
  • Coordinate care with providers, community resources, and support services to ensure continuity of care.
  • Recommend and facilitate referrals to appropriate levels of care and community-based services.

Documentation & Quality

  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, case records, and service authorizations.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, case reviews, and discussions regarding patient progress and care needs.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and perform duties in accordance with organizational standards and professional competencies.
  • *Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.
  • Completion of a human services related internship/practicum or 1 year of relevant human services experience.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process preferred.

Additional Preferences:

  • One (1) year of counseling or behavioral health experience.
  • Experience facilitating both individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Experience conducting psychosocial, substance use, and/or mental health assessments.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health, mental health, and substance use disorder treatment principles.
  • Strong assessment, clinical interviewing, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and standard computer applications.
