Here, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in the emergency department and inpatient medical unit, addressing mental health and substance use disorders in a close-knit, supportive environment.

Role Overview

As an Access Center Clinician, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based care to patients with mental illness and/or substance use disorders. You will conduct clinical assessments, coordinate care, and plan dispositions in emergency and inpatient settings. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure effective treatment and support for this vulnerable population.

What You Will Do

  • Provide evidence-based care to patients with mental illness and/or substance use disorders in emergency and inpatient settings.
  • Conduct clinical assessments to determine patient needs and develop care plans.
  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment.
  • Plan and facilitate dispositions to appropriate levels of care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to advocate for patient needs and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling (LPC)
  • Full licensure as an LMSW or LPC, or limited licensure as an LLMSW or LLPC (must obtain full licensure within 12 months of completing 4,000 supervised hours)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Behavioral health experience
  • Crisis intervention experience
