WCBS is looking for a dependable, compassionate Youth Service Worker to provide one-on-one skill development and support to youth ages 11–19 and their families. Services are primarily provided in the home and community, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and see the impact of your work.
What You'll Do
· Provide one-on-one skill development services to youth ages 11–19.
· Help youth build practical skills based on their individual goals and needs.
· Maintain a caseload of approximately 8–12 youth.
· Provide approximately 1–4 hours of direct in home services per week to each assigned youth and family.
· Build positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries, structure, and safety.
· Work with parents, schools, Juvenile Court Services, mental health providers, and other community partners.
· Provide support during challenging situations and crises when needed.
· Complete required documentation and service notes.
· Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings.

What We're Looking For:
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, Education, Social Work, or a related field; OR
· Two years of college plus at least one year of full-time experience working with at-risk youth or in law enforcement.
Additional Requirements:
· Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
· Ability to work independently in homes and community settings.
· Ability to build professional relationships and respond appropriately to challenging situations.
· Flexible schedule to meet the needs of youth and families.
· Valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle liability insurance.
· Successful completion of required background checks.
