Youth Point Master's Level Clinician - Sign on Bonus Eligible!

Program/Location: Youth Point Clinic - Hyannis, MA
Education/Licensure: Master's degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field: clinical psychology, education counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, or social work. Must be eligible for independent licensure as a LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or LADC1. Must have 1+ years of experience working with youth.
Pay Grade: $79,040-$91,520 salaried (dependent on education, licensure, and relevant experience)
Status: Full time, 40hrs/week, M-F 12pm-8pm and Saturdays 8am-12pm. Remote/hybrid schedule available.

Youth Point Master's Level Clinician Requirements

• Must always present as courteous and professional;
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks;
• Maintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position;
• Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas in logical and clear fashion;
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPAO Electronic Health Record (EHR);
• Must have the ability to work with others in a cooperative and collaborative manner;
• An understanding of the relationship between substance use and mental health issues and/or self-help programs;
• Understand and maintain therapeutic boundaries;
• Reinforce rules in a respectful manner;
• Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder and HIPAA Regulations;
• TB/Flu and Covid19 Assessment;
• Annual Completion of the HPAO crisis de-escalation program;
• CPR Certification;
• Successful completion of all trainings upon hire and annually as required.

Youth Point Master's Level Clinician Duties and Responsibilities

• Crisis intervention;
• Maintain assigned caseload; Providing direct care to patients/residents – including assessments, individual counseling, discharge and aftercare planning, treatment plans and updates, weekly progress notes, daily groups facilitation, group note completion, and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments;
• Making referrals when appropriate;
• Responsible for each assigned patients' medical records. All records are to be professional, complete and thorough with entries made in a timely manner;
• Responsible connecting patients/residents with aftercare services prior to discharge and aiding the resident and his/her family access services when appropriate;
• Communicating/involving family in treatment at patient's request;
• Attend and participate in all unit, facility meetings, case conferences, Treatment Team meetings, and mandatory trainings, as directed by the Clinical Supervisor/Director;
• Responsible for continued education in the field of substance use, mental health and related courses.
• Always utilize standards precautions;
• Demonstrates behaviors that recognize the rights of patients as defined by the patient’s rights;
• Completion of all CBHI New Hire Trainings upon hire (In Home Therapists);
• CANS Certified at hire and as recertification is required;
• Possesses an understanding of trauma informed care and cultural competence and attends all additional trainings as required/assigned;
• Ability to run psycho educational and social support groups as needed;
• Knowledge of area resources necessary to meet treatment plan goals of youth;
• Ability to network and develop professional working relationships with external area providers;
• Place referrals for additional services for youth and families throughout treatment and prior to discharge, as necessary;
• Ongoing regular communication and collaboration with other internal and external providers;
• Completion of all required documentation at the start of services and updates as required by performance specifications;
• Ongoing monitoring and compliance with required documentation for services;
• Ability to accurately document time spent with clients, guardians, and collaterals including interventions utilized and responses to these interventions;
• Provide clinical services, both in person and through telehealth platform;
• Tracking service authorizations dates/units and providing updated information for continued stay reviews, as necessary for the services provided;
• Attend all required staff and client meetings, or additional meetings assigned by supervisor;
• Attend weekly clinical supervision, tracking all direct client contact and supervision hours toward licensure;
• Comply with all necessary medical necessity criteria and performance specifications, dependent on service provided;
• Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or Program Director.

Youth Point Master's Level Clinician Qualifications

• Master's degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field: clinical psychology, education counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, social work, etc.
• Minimum of one year of supervised substance use and/or mental health disorder counseling experience preferred
• Must be eligible for independent licensure as an LMHC, LICSW, LMFT or LADC1
• Must have 1+ years of experience working with youth populations
