Youth Mental Health Therapist

Full-Time | 9-Month Position

As a Youth Mental Health Therapist, you'll help children, adolescents, young adults, and their families navigate life's most difficult moments while working alongside schools and community partners to ensure they receive the care they need. If you're passionate about youth mental health, prevention, and making a lasting impact, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide individual, family, and telehealth counseling for youth experiencing anxiety, depression, self-injury, suicidal ideation, and other mental health concerns.
  • Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Coordinate care with families, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners.
  • Facilitate adolescent therapeutic support groups.
  • Connect families with mental health and community resources.
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings, clinical consultation, professional development, and quality improvement activities.
  • Support CHADS Coalition's mission through collaboration and community outreach.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
  • Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Missouri licensure (LPC, LCSW, PLPC, LMSW, or license-eligible as appropriate).
  • Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, or young adults.
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
  • School-based or youth counseling experience.
  • Experience facilitating adolescent groups.
  • Knowledge of suicide prevention, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based interventions.
This is a full-time, exempt, 9-month position that follows the school calendar. Your annual salary is paid over 12 months, providing consistent year-round income, with optional opportunities for additional summer work. Occasional evening appointments may be required.

Starting salary: $42,120+, based on experience.
