WIC Nutrition Counselor
Western Maine Community AWIC is a federally funded program that provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, referrals, and food benefits to families that qualify. Auburn is the home office this position travels to clinics throughout Oxford County weekly.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Associates or bachelor's degree in nutrition along with great verbal communication skills and demonstrates ability to conduct educational sessions in individual and group settings. Sensitivity to issues facing low-income people and those from a number of cultural backgrounds.
