Job Description

  • To assure our teams across the system can be "At their best", this role provides direct emotional support to the organization's employees & providers through the delivery of mental and behavioral health assessment, consultation, education, and triage services.
  • Uses knowledge of regulations to assist organizations in their appropriate handling of employee concerns and problems.
  • Consults with employees and organizations on variety of workplace and work based issues.
  • Provides clinical expertise in order to restore employees with diminished performance to healthy functioning.
  • Provides education and referrals where appropriate to assure support.

Job Requirements

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Professional Counselor (LPC) license issued by the State of Wisconsin and any other state where required to practice.
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling or related field.
  • Requires 3 years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Preferred Employee Assistance Professional Certification (CEAP) issued by the International Employee Assistance Professionals Association.
  • Prior onsite counseling experience preferred.
  • Experience in settings such as managed care, private or public clinics, with emphasis on mental health, chemical dependency, and work place issues preferred.

Additional Skills & Abilities

  • Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children's values and support our mission and vision.
  • Thorough understanding of workplace issues, how businesses function and a fundamental understanding of employee/employer relationships.
  • Must be capable of acquiring an understanding of HIPAA, EEO rules, ADA in the workplace, FMLA, and Drug Free Workplace Requirements.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Travel to other facilities within the Children's operating area is required.

License LPC-Professional Counselor (125) - State of Wisconsin
