$82K+ annual salary for licensed Therapists/Counselors with $8K first year bonus!

Therapists/Counselors under supervision start at $72K+/year with an $5K first year bonus!

JOB SUMMARY: Under clinical supervision and within agency policy and clinical standards, therapists will engage with their multidisciplinary team to provide group and individual counseling and therapy services in a culturally sensitive way producing optimal outcome to a designated population, with a multiplicity of problems. Services include but are not limited to: assessment & diagnosis, treatment planning, individual, couple, child, family therapy, group therapy and, crisis intervention. Services are predominantly delivered to an adult population who carry a serious mental illness, substance abuse, co-occurring and/or medically co-morbid diagnosis.

POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct initial and/or ongoing clinical assessments utilizing established evidence-based assessment tools and instruments and effectively communicate information to the interdisciplinary team.
• Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients.
• Provide individual and/or group-based therapy to deliver therapeutic interventions that are consistent and congruent with the chosen model of treatment and sensitive to individual client's needs.
• Continually assess client situations and provide the proper ongoing treatments working collaboratively with client, other treatment providers, and family members or natural supports to develop a clear plan for treatment.
• Educate and involve family members or other loved ones in the treatment process when necessary.
• Record and maintain adequate notes about client visits and submit completed documentation within established agency timeline.
• When required, refer clients to outside sources or agencies that can better address their specific needs.
• Maintain the strictest confidentiality of each and every client situation.
• Provide Crisis intervention as needed.
• May require to meet clients at offsite location including but not limited to homeless shelters, private residences, or outdoors while maintaining confidentiality.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

• Master's Degree in related field is required

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working with individuals with severe mental illness or working in a community based setting preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Knowledge and experience in individual, group and family therapy.
• Knowledge and experience in conducting mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Must demonstrate a clinical family systems orientation and ability to work with diverse populations with multiplicity of problems.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

• Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office. Proof of automobile insurance required.
• Must be licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC or other mental health professional

SAFETY SENSITIVE JOB CLASSIFICATION:

This job is classified as a “safety-sensitive” position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. Due to the “safety-sensitive” classification, an employee in this position would be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana per the Family & Children’s Services Drug Free Workplace Policy, including possible revocation of a job offer or dismissal from employment.
