RFS Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate, motivated Therapist to join our school-based behavioral health team in Marion, Ohio.
This is an opportunity to provide meaningful mental health support to children and adolescents in the environment where they spend much of their day—their school. You'll work collaboratively with students, families, school personnel, and other behavioral health professionals to help youth overcome challenges, build skills, and achieve greater emotional and behavioral wellness.
What You'll Do
- Provide individual, family, and group therapeutic services to children and adolescents.
- Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Provide evidence-based and trauma-informed therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor client progress and update treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, school personnel, and members of the treatment team.
- Support students experiencing behavioral, emotional, social, or mental health challenges.
- Provide crisis intervention and appropriate referrals when needed.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, trainings, and professional development.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, Medicaid, and agency standards.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a therapist who enjoys working with youth and understands the importance of building strong relationships with students, families, schools, and treatment teams.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field.
- Current or eligible Ohio behavioral health licensure.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or school-based populations preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing culturally responsive, client-centered care.
Compensation & Benefits
$60,000–$65,000 annual salary
PLUS a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus
