West Oaks Hospital has been faithfully serving Houston and the surrounding communities for over 35 years. West Oaks, located in southwest Houston, is a fully accredited 160 bed acute care facility and 16 bed adult CD residential facility dedicated to the provision of quality care and assistance for individuals and families in need of psychiatric care and treatment for substance abuse. West Oaks Hospital offers the community a broad range of inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults. We also offer residential adult chemical dependency services. West Oaks Hospital is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for any questions or inquiries about our programs.

 

West Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Therapist. Purpose: To provide direct care to patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions in an acute setting. Responsible for collaborating with the patient, family/support, multidisciplinary team, outside providers, and community agencies to support and coordinate treatment and discharge planning. Responsible for continuing own personal development to enhance practice. Works with adult, adolescent, children and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

EDUCATION
Required: Master’s Degree in Human Services related field. Preferred: Master’s in Social Work.

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Required: LPC, LPC-I, LMFT, LMFT-A, or LMSW in Texas. CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications. Preferred: LCSW in Tennessee

 

EXPERIENCE
Preferred : One year of clinical experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
