OUTPATIENT TREATMENT LICENSED THERAPIST


Summary

The Outpatient Treatment Licensed Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive assessments and developing an Individualized Treatment Plan for each client on the therapist's caseload, and providing individual, group, and family therapy as indicated in an office setting. The Licensed Outpatient Therapist will ensure that the Individualized Treatment Plan is in1plemented and reviewed in accordance with all state, accreditation, and programmatic policies and procedures. The therapist, under the supervision of the Outpatient Treatment Division Director, will assure the effective provision of evidence-based and best practice clinical intervention to individuals of all ages served by Reilly Counseling Center, in order to assure the most holistic and integrated care possible.

Essential Functions

• Provide evidence-based and best practice mental health counseling services to individuals of all ages.

• Provide comprehensive assessments of clients served by Reilly Center Outpatient Treatment to identify individualized needs and frequency of counseling services to be provided.

• Develop and implement an Individualized Treatment Plan for clients.

• Collaborate with the client or caregiver to ensure all needs within the family system are identified and addressed.

• Communicate effectively with the Director, guardians, case workers, and clients to assure that clients receive appropriate services and, if indicated, referrals for additional community services.

• Complete and maintain client records in accordance with federal, state, accreditation, and programmatic policies and procedures.

• Complete all referral documentation, insurance authorizations, and initiation of services as defined by the Reilly Center Outpatient Treatment Program policies.

• Along with other team members, cultivate referral source locations in the community for potential clientele for Outpatient Treatment.

• Provide advocacy for client's rights in utilization and interaction with community health, education, employment, and welfare systems.

• Participate in reviews of policy and procedure for the Reilly Center Outpatient Treatment Program and advocate for necessary changes, when appropriate.

• Participate in clinical peer supervision with other members of the Reilly Center Outpatient Treatment team.

• Must demonstrate strong therapeutic skills to provide individual, group, and family counseling to clients, and a passion for helping others.

• Must demonstrate professionalism and integrity in working with peers, colleagues, and clients.

Required Education and Experience

• Must possess a Master's Degree in a mental health field and be licensed with a Louisiana state licensing board (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).

• Must have a minimum of one year of experience working with at-risk children and families.
