This role is ideal for a Bachelor's-level clinician holding an active CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) credential who is ready to build a caseload, sharpen clinical skills, and grow toward advanced licensure within a supportive, mission-driven team.

As a Therapist I - CADC, you will:
- Provide meaningful, recovery-focused clinical services to patients during critical stages of treatment

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Treatment Planning
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and gather diagnostic information within established timeframes
- Complete required ASAM documentation for admission, continued stay, transfers, and discharge
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized, measurable treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the treatment team
Therapeutic Services & Patient Care
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy in accordance with program standards, including daily process groups
- Facilitate therapeutic, psychoeducational, and experiential groups that promote insight and recovery-focused progress
Family Engagement & Care Coordination
- Maintain regular communication with families and support systems, including weekly family sessions
- Maintain communication with referral sources and external providers to support continuity of care
- Collaborate with Case Management on discharge and continuing care planning
Crisis Intervention, Safety & Documentation
- Apply sound clinical judgment in crisis situations, including suicide risk assessment and safety planning
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes in accordance with organizational and licensing/accrediting standards
- Participate in supervision, quality improvement activities, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or another related human services field, combined with an active CADC certification in Illinois, required (Master's-level candidates also encouraged to apply)
- Knowledge of state and federal patient confidentiality regulations
- Familiarity with ASAM criteria and clinical documentation requirements
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (Kipu preferred)
Preferred:
- One or more years of clinical experience providing therapy in behavioral health and/or substance use treatment settings, strongly preferred
- Experience working in residential, inpatient, or detoxification levels of care, strongly preferred
- Preference given to candidates actively pursuing, or planning to pursue, an associate/pre-clinical licensure or advanced degree toward full clinical licensure
