Role Overview
As a Therapist-Bachelor Level, you will work under the guidance of a fully licensed Master Level Therapist to gather patient information, develop treatment and aftercare plans, and facilitate group and didactic sessions. Your role is crucial in supporting patients through their recovery journey, ensuring they receive personalized and effective care.

What You Will Do
- Develop treatment plans using ASAM Patient Placement Criteria and DSM-IV®-TR, and discuss recommendations for patient care in team conferences.
- Identify co-existing conditions and coordinate additional services within Brighton Hospital or through referrals.
- Individualize therapy based on culture, gender, and lifestyle, and complete bio-psycho-social histories.
- Facilitate group and didactic sessions, and conduct educational lectures on chemical dependency and recovery.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and external resources to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology.
- 3 months of work experience in human services.
- CADC certification or willingness to become certified within 90 days of eligibility.
- CPI certification within 120 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in chemical dependency counseling.
