About the Role:

As a Therapist based in the United States, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals facing emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. Your primary objective will be to provide compassionate, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that promote mental health and well-being. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and facilitate progress through various therapeutic modalities. This role requires a deep understanding of mental health disorders, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to create a safe and trusting environment for clients. Ultimately, your work will contribute to improving clients' quality of life and helping them achieve their personal and emotional goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience providing therapy to diverse populations.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and ethical standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care.
  • Bilingual abilities or experience working with multicultural populations.
  • Certification in specialized therapeutic approaches or additional training in substance abuse counseling.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams or integrated care settings.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health status and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions using appropriate therapeutic techniques.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers, to coordinate care.
  • Stay current with developments in therapeutic practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Strong communication skills are essential for building rapport, facilitating sessions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
