Red Oak Recovery Center offers a men-only addiction treatment program designed to support healing in a calm, restorative environment. Out treatment integrates evidence-based care with experiential therapy and nature-based experiences to help lower stress during early recovery. By addressing substance use alongside trauma and emotional development, our program helps men build the skills needed for lasting recovery and a healthier, substance-free life.
We are seeking a Therapist to add to our residential treatment facility in Ellenboro, NC.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and their families
- Accurately assess clients and develop individualized treatment goals, using client input, and client strengths, abilities, needs and preferences
- Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions to assist clients in overcoming challenges
- Produce assessments, treatment plans, and other records in a timely manner
- Work in collaboration with other professionals as part of a treatment team
- Complete and upload all documentation to EMR within one week of service or as indicated by supervisor
- Complete pre-admission assessments, clinical assessments, treatment plans, weekly progress notes, group notes, discharge summaries and transition plans
- Develop and maintain relationships with referring professionals
- Initiate appropriate referrals to aftercare programs
- Utilization review and ASAM for insurance companies
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in human service field
- Licensed as LCMHC, LCSW, or LMFT or license eligible
- Experience in facilitating group therapy
- Experience with experiential therapy
Preferred Qualifications
- LCMHC, LCSW, or LMFT and LCAS or pursuing LCAS
- Dually licensed in both addiction and mental health treatment (or willing to seek both)
- Experience working with adults in an eco-therapeutic setting
