Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field required.
- Previous experience working with individuals with emotional and/or mental health needs in a service-delivery setting required.
- Must meet applicable Medicaid requirements for qualified mental health case managers.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with communities, families, treatment teams, and other service providers.
- Valid Virginia driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule when necessary to meet program and agency needs.
- Travel throughout the Crossroads CSB catchment area may be required.
- Medical examinations and/or medical testing may be required for certain positions.
Brief Description:
Crossroads Community Services Board is seeking a Juvenile Detention Case Manager to provide case management services to juveniles experiencing mental health, emotional, and/or addiction disorders at the Piedmont Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
This position provides clinical assessment, treatment and discharge planning, service coordination, and linkage to community resources while working closely with juveniles, their families/guardians, detention center staff, and other treatment providers. The position is supervised by the Coordinator of Child and Adolescent Services.
This position is designated as HIPAA Level Two and is exempt under FLSA. OSHA regulations apply.
