Job Summary:

CPSFL has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor of Therapy Services for a full-time position. This supervisory role, which includes supervising, monitoring, and training therapists. Responsible for oversight and management of outcomes and data. Clinical responsibilities may include providing medically necessary mental health services to children and their families in the outpatient office, their homes, at schools and/or other safe community settings depending on the family’s choice, or telehealth via a HIPPA complaint platform.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy (or the equivalent) from an accredited university or college in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, or related human service.
  • Licensed Therapist with the State of Florida.
  • Minimum of two years successful supervisory experience.
  • Qualified Supervisor with the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience with children with serious emotional disturbances, trauma, and abuse/neglect issues AND experience working with children and families with psychological, behavioral, and/or psychosocial issues.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to conceptualize and execute decisions in an assertive manner.
  • Experience with successfully managing emergent situations and respond to staff members and agency needs as they arise.
  • Experience with successful management of staff, particularly with reviewing, approving, and revising clinical documentation AND identifying, developing, and implementing policies to best fit departmentor agency need.
  • Advanced computer knowledge (i.e. ability to create and utilize spreadsheets, track outcomes, and use schedules).
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team and to be flexible.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and awareness of the socio-cultural characteristics of clients served.
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally; work a flexible schedule, which includes evenings and possibly weekends, and to work in a school and home-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ORGANIZATION CULTURE: Promote the mission, values and vision of Community Partners of South Florida.
  • TEAM PLAYER: Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • OUTREACH: Act as a liaison and appropriate representative for the agency with outside social service agencies, schools, and other organizations.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation: $61,000 annually.
