Overview

The Supervisor for the Adult Residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program at Fairview Riverside Campus plays a key leadership role in advancing M Health Fairview’s mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer, healthier lives. In partnership with program leadership, this position supports the day-to-day operations of a high-quality residential treatment program, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centered care. The Supervisor oversees frontline teams responsible for maintaining program operations and therapeutic support, while promoting strong interdisciplinary collaboration and a respectful, recovery-oriented environment for patients and staff.

 

This role is responsible for direct supervision of staff, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management, as well as coordinating daily workflows to ensure efficiency, safety, and consistency of care. The Supervisor ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, quality standards, and organizational policies, while serving as a resource to team members and a liaison across departments. Success in this position requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and a commitment to fostering a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement and exceptional service delivery. This role will provide oversight of the evening therapeutic interactions with patients and support for clinical staff.

Required Qualifications

  • M.A./M.S. Dual Licensed in Masters in SW, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy and as Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor.
  • 2 years Experience in mental health and addiction services
  • Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
  • LADC and one of the following 
    • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or
    • Licensed Psychologist LP or
    • Lic Assoc Marriage Family Ther LMFT or
    • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience in behavioral health or residential settings
  • Experience with residential, PHP, or IOP program operations
  • Knowledge of Minnesota regulatory requirements (e.g., 245G, 2960)

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within thisrange may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience,and market conditions.
