Job Summary

This position is responsible for the implementation, direct supervision, program/contract oversight, maintenance and delivery of strength-based community services for the Healthy Families program.  

Major Duties:  
• Responsible for insuring all Agency contract policies, procedures, protocols, treatment planning and implementation, paperwork, data entry and practices allow for the smooth delivery of services to youth and their families. 
• Maintain all client and staff records to established standards. 
• Oversees daily program operations for the Healthy Families program to include: staff evaluations, review of parent educator’s documentation/ reports, timely submission of payment information to Agency Finance Department and    2 REV 11.2.22 Department of Social Services/ARCHS Liaison, billing and other supervisory responsibilities to ensure successful service provision for this program. 
• Monitors the utilization and outcomes of the program and ensures the obtainment of program goals in these areas.  
• Meet once per month with the Healthy Families team to discuss program goals, treatment progress, provide consultation and provide in-service training. 
• Meet weekly with Healthy Families parent-educator for supervision and program compliance. Address level changes and client concerns.  
• Act as liaison to the Agency Administrative team, state and local agencies, family courts and other social service providers, visiting the agencies regularly and reporting on visit outcomes to supervisor/designee.    
• Develops and monitors budgets for existing/future community based programs with immediate supervisor. 
• Present information regarding Agency programs to community organizations, families, and referral sources and builds collaboration with community partners as needed.  
• Facilitate on-going peer review process whereby all files and paperwork, for assigned programs, are being checked/corrected as needed. 
• Work to develop and complete grants or other activities aimed at program development and expansion.  
• All other duties as assigned for the betterment of families and children being served and Agency.  • Develop and monitor documentation, tracking, and policies to ensure fidelity to the healthy families national model and to maintain Agency’s national accreditation 

Education: • Master’s degree in human services or fields related to working with children and families, or bachelor’s degree in these fields with 3 years of relevant experience, or less than a bachelor’s degree but with commensurate HFA experience   

Qualifications: 
• Master’s degree in human services or fields related to working with children and families, or bachelor’s degree in these fields with 3 years of relevant experience, or less than a bachelor’s degree but with commensurate HFA experience  
• Solid understanding of or experience in supervising diverse staff with humility, as well as providing support to staff in stressful work environments  
• Knowledge of infant and child development and parent-child attachment  
• Experience with family services that embraces the concepts of family-centered and strength-based service provision  
• Knowledge of parent-infant health and dynamics of child abuse and neglect  
• Experience supporting culturally diverse communities/families  
• Experience in home visiting with a strong background in early childhood prevention services  
• Willingness to engage in building reflective practice (e.g., capacity for introspection, communicating awareness of self in relation to others, recognizing value of supervision, etc.)  
• Infant mental health endorsement preferred Experience with reflective practice preferred 

Experience: 3-5 years supervisory experience 

Preferred Experience/Skills:   
• Work with children and families in a trauma informed environment 
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a relevant related field and holds a license or provisional license in the State of Missouri as a LCSW, LPC, or Psychologist
