We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and innovative Senior Director of Integrated Services to help strengthen how our programs, systems, and teams work together to support children and families across Washington.

About the Position

Reporting to the Vice President of Clinical and Integrated Services, the Senior Director of Integrated Services provides strategic leadership and oversight of Akin's enterprise-wide continuous quality improvement (CQI), program data management, business application services, practice management, project management, and cross-program integration efforts.

This position plays a critical role in advancing Akin's One Akin vision by developing shared standards, improving systems and processes, and helping teams work more effectively across programs.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who can see the big picture, translate complex challenges into practical solutions, and build strong partnerships across a diverse organization.

What You'll Do

Lead Organizational Strategy and Integration

  • Develop and implement strategies that strengthen coordination and consistency across Akin's programs and services.

  • Establish shared standards and processes that improve access, referrals, service navigation, and the overall family experience.

  • Identify opportunities to reduce barriers, streamline workflows, and improve cross-program collaboration.

Drive Continuous Quality Improvement

  • Lead Akin's enterprise-wide CQI strategy, tools, and improvement methodologies.

  • Provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to help teams strengthen quality and performance.

  • Promote data-informed decision-making, organizational learning, and sustainable process improvements.

Oversee Data Management and Business Systems

  • Provide strategic oversight of program data governance, reporting, dashboards, and performance measurement.

  • Partner with Information Technology, Compliance, and program leaders to improve data consistency, reliability, and accessibility.

  • Oversee business application services and support system improvements that strengthen organizational effectiveness.

Strengthen Practice and Project Management

  • Lead enterprise practice management strategies that improve scheduling, documentation, productivity, and operational workflows.

  • Provide oversight of cross-functional projects, systems implementations, and organizational improvement initiatives.

  • Establish clear project priorities, timelines, accountability, and measures of success.

Build and Develop High-Performing Teams

  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary team responsible for Data Management, Practice Management, CQI, and Project Management.

  • Foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture focused on continuous learning and improvement.

  • Build strong relationships with executive leadership, program teams, and organizational partners to support shared goals.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, healthcare administration, business, data analytics, information management, organizational development, or a related field.

  • At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in quality improvement, data management, program operations, project management, compliance, evaluation, or related fields, including leadership responsibilities.

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional improvement initiatives, organizational change, or systems implementations in a complex organization.

  • Experience using data, performance measures, and continuous quality improvement methods to improve operational effectiveness and service outcomes.

  • Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Ability to develop organization-wide strategies while supporting accountability and flexibility across individual programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.

  • Experience in behavioral health, early childhood, family services, healthcare, or other multi-program human services environments.

  • Lean Six Sigma certification, with Black Belt preferred.

  • Experience with CARF or similar accreditation standards, enterprise data governance, EHR/EMR/CRM systems, or large-scale project management.

SALARY RANGE AND BENEFITS: 

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive pay, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. 

The target starting pay for this position is $130,000 - $160,000, typically within the first half of these ranges. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant’s pay history into account. 

The range above allows our employees room for growth during their tenure in the position.
