Join EveryMind's Program Performance & Impact team for a hands-on internship experience supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. Interns will work side by side with experienced staff to analyze program outcomes, manage survey and participation data, and build tools that help leadership and funders understand our impact. Interns will work with program leadership, frontline staff, and funders, developing valuable skills in data analysis, data visualization, survey design, outcomes measurement, and nonprofit reporting. This is an opportunity to gain real-world experience in nonprofit data and evaluation work while making a meaningful impact by strengthening the programs that support individual, family, and community stability and wellbeing.
Schedule: Hybrid, Flexible, part-time (16–24 hours/week during business hours, M–F)
Location: EveryMind Office in Rockville, MD, with occasional travel to program sites across the DMV as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Outcome Measurement – Analyze and interpret data to measure program outcomes and impact, including data related to social and environmental factors — such as housing, food access, and economic stability — that affect mental health and community wellness outcomes
Metrics Implementation & Monitoring – Support the implementation and monitoring of organization-wide metrics and outcomes
Data & Reporting Management – Organize and manage survey results, participation records, and funder reports
Visualization & Dashboard Development – Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings clearly and compellingly
Program Improvement Collaboration – Collaborate with the team to use data for improving services and outreach
Research & Best Practices – Research best practices in data collection and survey design, and in outcome measurement used by peer organizations in the mental health and community wellness space, to improve the quality of program feedback

QualificationsQualifications
Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student studying Data Analytics, Public Health, Statistics, Social Work, or a related field
Interest in nonprofit program evaluation and impact measurement
Strong analytical and written communication skills; comfortable translating data into clear findings for varied audiences
Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with data visualization tools a plus
Comfortable working with survey platforms and program data systems
Previous experience with data analysis or research preferred. Leadership qualities are desirable
