Highlights:

Summary: The Social Worker-BSW is responsible for functioning as a part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. The specific responsibilities entail liaison with courts, interaction with families of patients and discharge planning. In addition, there may be other therapeutic functions requested by the Treatment Coordinator due to specific needs of the program or specific patient groups. Education / Experience:Bachelors degree in Social Work required. License / Certification: Active BSW licensure required, BLS required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Able to cope with stressful/rapidly changing situations.
• Ability to maintain a professional and customer centric composure in difficult or challenging situations.
• Ability to work from broad directions and be self motivated.
• Ability to prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds throughout the organization.
• Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to guest, visitors, and patients.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Position requires sitting for 50% of the workday and mobility 50% of the workday.
There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.
Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds.
There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Minimal noise levels.
Much exposure to computer work.
Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks.
Some exposure to hazardous chemicals. Occasional exposure to radiation.
