The MSW social worker performs assessment and documentation of presenting problems, social and family history, psychiatric history, mental status, and other information pertinent to the accurate assessment of patient's neurobehavioral problems on the inpatient unit. The social worker may provide individually structured targeted behavioral interventions for inpatients. The social worker provides assessment and documentation, as well as targeted behavioral interventions for outpatients. The social worker is competent with both adult and adolescent populations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work.    
  • Coursework/Training: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training.
  • Upon hire: Montana Masters Social Worker License or
    • Upon hire: Montana Clinical Social Worker Licensure Candidate License or
    • Within 60 days of hire: Montana Master Social Worker Candidate License.
  • 3 years Adult and/or adolescent populations.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
