Social Worker Master of Social Work

Position Summary:

Generates and accepts Social Work referrals, applies casework process, performs department duties, documents activities and performs social work functions of counseling, referral/resource acquisition/and case consultation and coordination.

Required:

·         Possess a Masters degree in Social Work from accredited higher educational institution.

·         Michigan Licensure as Masters Level Social Worker (LMSW) with a Clinical Specialty endorsement.  NOTE: a Limited License Masters Level Social Worker (LLMSW) is eligible for this position.  A LLMSW must successful complete the Clinical Examination that is conducted by the Association of Social Work Boards within six months of the date of hire.

Preferred: 

·         Enrollment in Academy for Certified Social Workers.

·         One year of related experience.
