Summary:

The Service Pathways Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, engaging, and stewarding AmeriCorps Members, Volunteer Groups, Community Volunteers, and Volunteer and AmeriCorps Alumni. This role builds and sustains strong service pipelines through strategic outreach, relationship development, alumni engagement, and close collaboration with internal partners. The Service Pathways Coordinator ensures that recruitment and engagement efforts align with organizational priorities and program capacity. 

 

Essential Job Functions:


Leads recruitment for AmeriCorps members, Volunteer Groups, and Community Volunteers through proactive outreach, relationship-based follow-up, management of all inquiry channels, and maintenance of accurate and compelling recruitment listings and materials. Ensures timely, consistent, and personal engagement across email, phone, text, chat, social platforms, and in-person opportunities. 50%


 


Cultivates and stewards strategic CAP-external relationships with colleges, universities, churches, corporate partners, and community organizations. Internally, serves as a key liaison to Communications, Philanthropy (including Church and Corporate Relations), and Human Services program staff to align messaging, coordinate marketing efforts, and elevate AmeriCorps, volunteer, and group engagement opportunities across the organization. 30%


 


Serves as the primary coordinator of Volunteer and AmeriCorps Alumni engagement. Manages alumni communications, invitations, data hygiene, surveys, and service opportunities to sustain an active alumni network that supports recruitment, program needs, and organizational visibility. 20%

QualificationsEducation:

Associates in Related Field Required

Bachelors in Related Field Preferred

 

Years of Experience:

2 or more years of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience

 

Certifications and Licensure:

Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required

CAP Driving Certification* (or ability to obtain within first 90 days) Required

*In order to drive personal vehicle on CAP business, must obtain and maintain a policy of motor vehicle insurance coverage on privately-owned vehicle with insurance coverage amounts of $50,000 bodily injury per person per accident; $100,000 bodily injury for all bodily injuries per accident; and $50,000 property damage per accident.

 

Physical Requirements:

Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk

Lift 45 lb

Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance

Sit for extended periods of time
