Program: Residential Behavioral Health programs

Location: New Haven

Salary: $ 100,000 - 105,000/year

Schedule: Full time; 40 hours; 1st shift; Monday-Friday; with evening and weekend flexibility to meet the needs of the programs. On call coverage is required. 

Position Summary:

The Senior Director of Behavioral Health provides clinical and administrative supervision to the Behavioral Health Programs. The Senior Director of Behavioral Health will have strong clinical knowledge and extensive experience with program operations for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, possess knowledge of the DMHAS & CSSD service system in CT, understand DPH regulations for residential settings and outpatient services and 3rd party billing practices. Must be able to navigate EHR (Electronic Health Record). The Senior Director of Behavioral Health will be responsible for developing and maintaining systems that promote effective service delivery and relationships with funders and constituents.   The Senior Director of Behavioral Health will supervise Managers in that service area and provide clinical supervision to licensed clinicians and will provide on-call coverage as needed. 

 

Requirements:


Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field
7 years relevant experience and 5 years supervisory
License or provisional license: LPC(A), LC(M)SW LMFT(A)
Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
Regular and predictable attendance is required

Orientation:
