| Position Overview: |
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Retriever CARE, the Retriever CARE Coordinator provides goal-oriented, strengths-based assessment, intervention, and coordination of services to students experiencing academic, personal, or medical difficulties. Working alongside UMBC’s Retrieve CARE team, this position facilitates an institutional response to students in distress by delivering targeted interventions and linking students to needed campus and community resources. |

| Required Minimum Qualifications: |
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Higher Education Administration, Public Health, or related field. Experience: Three years of direct experience managing behavioral and/or mental health concerns and demonstrated ability to support individuals in crisis. Exceptional judgment, discretion, and ability to manage complex, sensitive situations. |
