Residential Manager (Human Services)

Full-Time | $25/hour | Benefits Eligible

Location: Washington / Union / Sullivan, MO

Position Overview

ABiLITY is seeking a Residential Manager to oversee staff and services in residential homes providing 24-hour supports to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is responsible for staff supervision, service quality, and day-to-day program operations while ensuring health, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support direct support professionals
• Oversee health, safety, and quality of services for individuals supported
• Coordinate medical appointments, follow-up care, and documentation
• Maintain accurate individual and agency records
• Provide leadership coverage, including rotating on-call responsibilities
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, and person-centered culture

Schedule

• Full-time, flexible schedule based on program needs
• Evening and weekend availability required
• On-call rotation included

Compensation

• Starting pay: $25.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field OR
• Five (5) or more years of verified experience in the human services field
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Experience as a DSP, Residential Manager, Program Manager, Case Manager, or Supervisor in human services is strongly valued
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications

• CPR / First Aid
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
• Medication Aide
  (Company-supported training available)
