Program Overview:

Pettirosso Community Home offers a structured therapeutic environment where young women receive around-the-clock care and intensive, trauma-informed treatment. Residents engage in individual, group, and family therapy, as well as allied therapies, with the goal of transitioning to a lower level of care or reuniting with their families.

Job Overview 

The Residential Coordinator oversees the daily operations of a residential program, providing case management, engagement, and supportive services to youth while ensuring a safe and therapeutic living environment. This role supervises staff, manages scheduling, assists with crisis intervention and medication monitoring, and shares on-call responsibilities to support continuous, high-quality care.

As an integrated health organization Acenda values the use of evidence-based practice or EBP's.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide case management, engagement, and support to youth residing within the program.
  • Ensures the safety and security of the program, building, residents and staff. 
  • Responsible for scheduling and staff oversight
  • Provide support and assist with crisis management and medication monitoring.
  • Shared on-call time with program director

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work or a related field with 3 years or more of relevant experience or unlicensed Master's degree in counseling or related with 1 year of related experience.
  • Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgement under all circumstances.
  • Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently. 
  • Demonstrates a passion for working with adolescences.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record.

Additional Information: 

  • Starting Base Rate: $50,000
  • Bilingual rate: An additional $3,120 added to the base rate if Spanish proficient
