Resident Service Coordinator (Bilingual Spanish)

Trinity Management, LLC is seeking a compassionate, resourceful, and bilingual Resident Service Coordinator to support residents across our affordable housing communities in Connecticut and New York. This role focuses on resident advocacy, connecting individuals with community resources, and creating programs that promote independence and quality of life.

Please Note: This position requires regular travel between Connecticut and New York. Candidates should preferably reside in Southern Connecticut or Westchester County, NY for accessibility. A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are required.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Experience in resident services, social work, case management, human services, or affordable housing
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and social service agencies
  • Experience advocating for residents and connecting individuals with community-based services
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout Connecticut and New York
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with residents while promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Connect residents with community resources including financial assistance, counseling, healthcare, transportation, meal programs, and other supportive services.
  • Serve as a resident advocate by educating residents on available programs, benefits, and services.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local agencies, nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers, and community partners.
  • Coordinate referrals and provide follow-up to ensure residents receive appropriate services.
  • Plan and facilitate resident programming, workshops, educational events, and community activities.
  • Assist residents with reasonable accommodation requests (Section 504) and provide support throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with property management to address resident concerns and resolve conflicts.
  • Maintain accurate resident records and prepare required reports for management and funding agencies.
  • Assist with HUD reporting requirements and program documentation.
  • Manage the Resident Service Coordinator budget and explore grant and funding opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience working with affordable housing, HUD, LIHTC, or elderly/family housing populations
  • Familiarity with government assistance programs and community resources throughout Connecticut and New York
