Job Summary

Provides psychological assessment, diagnosis, counseling, psychotherapy, and behavioral health treatment for patients across the lifespan. Conducts evaluations, develops treatment plans, provides therapeutic interventions, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct psychological and behavioral health assessments.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide counseling, psychotherapy, and behavioral health interventions.

  • Administer and interpret psychological testing as appropriate to licensure.

  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.

  • Document assessments, treatment plans, and patient progress in the medical record.

  • Ensure continuity of care through coordination, referrals, and follow-up.

  • Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

  • Participate in professional development, quality improvement, and committee activities.

Licensure / Certification

One of the following is required:

  • Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA)

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

  • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)

Education & Experience

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related behavioral health field required.

  • Two (2) years of clinical or behavioral health experience preferred.

  • Experience providing assessments, counseling, and psychotherapy preferred.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong assessment, counseling, and psychotherapy skills.

  • Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral health practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.

  • Effective documentation and organizational abilities.

  • Proficiency with electronic medical records.

  • Commitment to patient confidentiality, ethics, and quality care.
