Program Manager

The Center for Human Development (CHD) is growing! We are currently seeking a Program Manager to join our Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) and Rapid Supportive Housing (RSH) programs of our Diversion, Shelter and Housing (DSH) division.  

Your role as Program Manager:  

The Program Manager provides operational oversight to the programs, caseworkers, and its participants. They supervise a team of case workers who work at different sites within the outreach and casework management of individuals enrolled in the PSH program. They will work within the Agency's team model, establishing open communication, support, and accountability among co-workers.  

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

• Provides orientation, training, and supervision to a team of caseworkers 

• Coordinates and implements program-wide initiatives and programming under the  

• Supervision of the Assistant Program Director 

• Monitors program, lease, and budgetary compliance through the case managers and database management activities 

• Engage in risk management to ensure program participants safety 

• Responds as needed to crisis situations with   

• Adheres to program procedure manual and assists in its ongoing review and  

          development  

Requirements: 

• 5 years of relevant experience working with homeless populations 

• 2 years' supervisory experience 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a human services field 

• Knowledge of housing initiatives and/or statewide homelessness services  

Success Factors: 

Ideal candidates will have a high level of commitment to program staff and support the philosophy of the Agency. They will be high energy, self-initiated, task and detailed oriented. Should have an open and direct interpersonal style  

The salary range is $58,000-$62,000 annually. This is a full-time on-site opportunity and is complemented with a phenomenal benefit package that includes, Dental, Health and Life insurance, a flexible schedule, paid time off, earned vacation time and paid holidays just to name a few.
