Program and Role Summary:

Wayfinder’s Davidson Program for Independence at the Los Angeles campus is a comprehensive residential rehabilitation program for adults ages 18 and older who are blind or visually impaired, many with recent vision loss. Participants learn assistive technology, orientation and mobility, braille, and independent living skills. Each client pursues individualized goals that lead to a confident transition to an independent life and education or employment.

 

The primary focus of the Program Coordinator, Adult Services is to provide administrative and operational leadership for all Adult Services programs, streamline administrative processes, manage quality assurance and documentation systems, implement software integrations across programs, and ensure that all Adult Services initiatives operate efficiently and effectively. 

 

The hourly wage range for this role is $25.00 - $28.00.

 

Primary Responsibilities: 


Create streamlined documentation and quality control processes for all Adult Services programs.
Coordinate quality assurance and compliance activities, including peer reviews, departmental goals, QA/QC reports, and internal audits.
Be responsible for student recruitment, application, coordination of activities to allow DPI to meet monthly census goals.
Develop and maintain a yearly transition event calendar with staff deadlines and student engagement goals.
Manage all grant reporting and compliance documentation.
Assist in preparing, modifying, and filing reports and documentation as necessary, including daily summaries of activities, makes recommendations for future services, and assist with analysis of overall program effectiveness.
Coordinate the monthly collection and preparation of billing information and documents required by the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) for Adult Services programs.
Maintain and audit client information in network files, physical files, and in Q90.
Maintaining all DPI student files and making sure all files are up to date and current – Also in charge of Q90 Input.
Maintaining all Situational Assessment student files and making sure all files are up to date and current – Also in charge of Q90 Input.
Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the OIB Program.
As the OIB Intake Specialist, receives intakes, callbacks within 24 hours, and inputs into database system CIL Suite

QualificationsEducation and Experience:


A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field, including education, social work, kinesiology, psychology, behavioral science, or healthcare, is required.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative support position is required.
Experience working with clients with visual impairments is preferred.
Valid CA Driver License with a minimum of three (3) years of good driving history and must be approved by the agency’s insurance carrier to drive agency vehicles.
