Practicum Advisor II

The Practicum Coordinator of the Master of Social Work (MSW) Practicum Education Department at Tulane School of Social Work (TSSW) is a key position responsible for the placement and ongoing oversight of placement of students for the practicum component of the Master of Social Work degree. The Practicum Coordinator will work with others in the Practicum Education Department and report to the Assistant Director of Practicum Education. The Practicum Coordinator is responsible for matching students with appropriate practicum sites and for assisting with the implementation of systems and processes to best direct the overall practicum learning experience. The Practicum Coordinator’s role is in part guided and defined by the policies and regulations of the Tulane School of Social Work’s accrediting body, the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
