This is an opportunity to support the important work of Washington County Mental Health Services (WCMHS) on a daily, high-impact basis. We are looking for a recruiter to join our People and Culture team who is relationship-driven, organized, and collaborative. You get to partner with hiring managers to post accurate and compelling job ads, develop contacts and relationships with potential employees who haven't found the best fit yet, and own Indeed and social media engagement while helping move applications through the workflow efficiently and accurately. A successful candidate will demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset. The mission of this role is to make the hiring process as simple and user-friendly as possible for the hiring managers whose priority is supporting the many people we serve at WCMHS.Β 

Summary of Duties


Prompt and accurate workflow throughout the hiring cycle
Develop relationship and community with hiring managers
Develop relationship and contacts in the health and human services industry
Understand and apply SEO, best-practice job ad construction, and use data to recommend and execute a recruitment marketing strategy
Collaborate with the Communications team to create and refresh effective recruitment marketing materials
Be the go-to coach and resource for managers looking to optimize use of the Applicant Tracking System


Compensation and Benefits

WCMHS provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a generous retirement contribution match. Our industry-leading paid time off package includes 12.5 flexible holidays per year and accrues 12 vacation days and 12 sick days in the first year of employment.

The starting pay range for this position is $26.70-$27.78 per hour.
QualificationsSummary of Qualifications


Bachelors degree in business, HR management, psychology, or equivalent education and experience required
Two or more years in Human Resources or similar strongly preferred
Experience using online software platforms to drive efficient processes highly desirable
Experience in health care or human services, especially in direct service roles, highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to build relationship across disciplines and work types
Demonstrated problem-solving attitude

Work Conditions

Work can take place in office settings and in public spaces such as career fairs. This position is expected to go to various agency buildings to meet with hiring managers and hiring teams, and this candidate will need to transport themselves to these events and meetings. Lifting up to 25 lbs, standing/sitting, and extended time periods of computer use are common.
