Peer - Recovery Support Specialist, PACE -7044-2-2

PACE to Recovery Peer Navigator to provide recovery support services for individuals and families experiencing a behavioral health crisis (Substance Use Disorder and/or Mental Health), needed for coverage at PCS offices, local emergency dept., and possibly some home visits. Peer Recovery Specialists also provide non-clinical peer-to-peer activities to empower individuals to improve health, recovery, resiliency, and wellness. Must have ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with individuals, small groups, agency staff, and community partners. Familiarity with principles of recovery required, Certified PRS preferred. It is required to obtain and maintain Registration by the Board of Professions within in one year of hire.  To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate a minimum of 1 year sustained personal recovery experience from a mental health and/or substance use disorder.
