- Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and screenings
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual counseling, group therapy, family therapy, and psychoeducational groups
- Facilitate process groups and therapeutic interventions
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment recommendations as appropriate
- Complete clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Participate in utilization review and insurance authorization processes
- Maintain an active caseload while ensuring quality standards of care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Provide crisis intervention and client support when needed
- Attend supervision, staff meetings, and training sessions
- Assist with program coverage and daily clinical operations
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care efforts
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, or counseling and working towards or holding a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling ), or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC).
- Bachelors level with a CADC or are working towards a CADC with a minimum of one year of qualifying clinical experience.
- Associates level with a CAAC or working towards a CAAC with a minimum of two years of qualifying clinical experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a CAAC.
- Current licensure in this Commonwealth as a registered nurse and a degree from an accredited school of nursing and one year of qualifying clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral health, mental health counseling, substance use disorder treatment, or co-occurring disorders
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches
- Experience conducting assessments and treatment planning
- Familiarity with utilization review processes
- Knowledge of HIPAA, licensing regulations, and accreditation standards
- Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Bilingual skills are a plus
