Job Summary

The Clinical Manager is responsible for the supervision of therapists, case manager, and behavioral health technicians. Ensure outpatient staff are providing ongoing, high quality therapeutic services to clients in outpatient programming. Ensure staff are completing required assessments within time frames.

Essential Duties:

  • Provides support to staff by providing clinical supervision, case consultations, assistance with assessments, case notes, etc.
  • Lead clinical service staff meetings and participate in leadership meetings
  • Collaborate with nursing the compliance of psychiatric services
  • Ensure compliance of psychological service
  • Coordinate efficient use of all clinical staff to meet treatment plan requirements of KVC
  • Provide efficient use of Clinical service resources to ensure that staff complete job duties within the budget limits
  • Direct the Clinical service staff to meet clinical assessment guidelines
  • Coordinate the staff to meet the priority of clinical needs of each client
  • Supervise clinical service staff to have timely and accurate communication with all agencies and parents on the current
  • progress of each client’s treatment progress
  • Create and maintain current Clinical service program evaluation data
  • Comply with of all therapeutic expectations of KVC to those of referring agencies and Joint Commission guidelines
  • Ensure that Medicaid Services are provided in the most effective manner, meeting all regulations, and that billing is both timely and accurate on the part of the therapists.
  • Approves, completes and organizes documentation in the Electronic Medical Record

Minimum Requirements

Education:Must possess a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a relevant related

Licensure/Certification: Must hold a license in the state of Missouri as an LPC or LCSW

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Special interest in and knowledge of family systems, experience in residential treatment, child welfare, or a mental health setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills of interpersonal engagement, crisis intervention, communication, and child protection
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Typing and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent physical condition and capable of assuming a leadership role in the programs
  • Ability to make objective assessments, evaluations and decisions

Experience:

  • Three years of professional clinical experience in outpatient or residential treatment providing services to individuals, groups, and families
  • Two years of supervisory and administrative experience.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Eligible to supervise provisional licensure for PLPC or LMSW
  • Work with children and families in a trauma informed environment
